David Goff

David Goff, 77, of Palestine, died at 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center in Robinson.
Born June 24, 1934, in Honey Creek Township, Crawford County, the son of George and Florence Littlejohn Goff, he retired in 1997 after 33 years as a caster for Briggs Pottery in Robinson. He was a charter member of Eagles Lodge #3329 and Amvets Post #33, both in Palestine.
Mr. Goff is survived by his wife, Freda Harris Goff; two sons, David A. Goff and Steve Goff, both of Palestine; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd Goff and Floyd Goff, both of Robinson; a half-brother, Leo Kimmel of Aurora, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Goff and George Goff; and several brothers and sisters in infancy.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, February 22, at Oak Grove Cemetery in rural Palestine. Arrangements were under the direction of Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine.
