Casey United Methodist Church invites all Casey area children to come to SonRock Kids Camp! ''We're ready for a Vacation Bible School your children will remember for a long time,'' said Patty Richards, VBS director. At SonRock Kids Camp children will experience an adventure camp like no other! Children will have a great time singing songs, watching skits, creating crafts, and keeping a camp journal. But most importantly, they'll learn how their lives can be transformed by God's great love for them. ''Campers'' will study Bible lessons from Matthew, Luke, John, and Acts as the VBS staff explains the Daily Truths: Accepted by Jesus, Protected by Jesus, Saved by Jesus, Forgiven by Jesus, Living for Jesus, based on the Bible verses and stories selected for each day. Children from age 4 through those who have completed 8th grade this past May are invited and encouraged to attend. School-age children will attend the class that corresponds with the grade they have recently completed at Monroe or Roosevelt. VBS will be held June 29- July 3. Pre-registration may be completed at the church from 9:00-noon beginning June 22-26 or on June 29 beginning at 8:00 at the entrance of the Fellowship Hall. Opening sessions held in the chapel on Monday through Friday will begin at 8:30. VBS will end at 11:15 Monday-Thursday, but on Friday there will be a closing program in the sanctuary beginning at 11:30. Each day an offering is taken for special missions; this year the Helping Hands Fund (which helps local citizens) and '''Nothin' But Nets'' will benefit. SonRock kids camp is a time for kids to build their lives on the Rock-Jesus. Call Patty Richards at 932-5463 with questions.
