THE ROYAL COURT of the Sumner Fall Festival opened the three-day event on Thursday, Sept. 10. Blake Adams was chosen as the king and Bailey Adams, the queen. Sumner Fall Festival begins with gathering of royal court The Sumner Fall Festival opened on Thursday, Sept. 10 with the royal court and presentation of a king and queen, as voted by the Red Hill Jr. High School students. Blake Adams was chosen as the king , while Bailey Adams was the pick for queen. Shania Hulfachor and Kaleb Christy were announced as the first runners-up. Justin Smith and Kynlee York were the second runners-up. A younger royalty group was featured as Master of Ceremonies Bob Christy interviewed 16 princess candidates and four prince candidates. Prince candidates were: Wyatt Cafin, the son of James and Jessica Cafin of Sumner; Dawson Holtz, the son of Eric and Angie Holtz of Bridgeport; David Kerschner, the son of Amy Watkins and David Kerschner of Lawrenceville, and Hunter Osmond, the son of Arron and Billie Osmond of Sumner.
Hunter was chosen as the prince, while David was the first runner-up, Dawson was the second runner-up, and Wyatt was the third runner-up. Princess candidates were: Sydney Biehl, the daughter of Nathan and Nichole Biehl of Sumner; Grayce Burgett, the daughter of David and Mary Burgett of Sumner; Cadence Cameron, the daughter of Trina and Donni Cameron of Sumner; Carmen Creech, the daughter of Chris and Christina Creech; Kendall Davis, the daughter of Corey and Emily Davis of Sumner; Lindsey DeLong, the daughter of Charles and Maria DeLong of Bridgeport; Kelsee Lee, the daughter of Theresa Lee and John Reid of Bridgeport; Laney Moore, the daughter of Kevin and Brandi Moore of Sumner; Melayna Moore, the daughter of Ashley and Amy Ryan and Jeremy and Talie Moore of Bridgeport; Saylor Price, the daughter of Jordi Price and Tracey Price of Lawrenceville; Rylee Recco, the daughter of Brandon and Stacy Recco of Sumner; Haylie Roark, the daughter of Ryan and Jenny Roark of Sumner; Jozelynn Sanderson, the daughter of Aaron and Stacy Sanderson of Bridgeport; Justice Stevenson, the daughter of Doug Stevenson and Jessica Compton of St. Francisville; Kelsey Harvey and Kloey Harvey, the daughters of David and Vicki Harvey of Sumner. Laney was the princess, while Saylor was the first runner-up, Melayna was thesecond runner-up; Haylie Roark, the third runner-up, and Kelsey Harvey, the fourth runner-up. Barbara E.
