Final beam to be placed on new Golden Rule building

Share

A ''Topping-Out'' ceremony will be held this morning (Thursday) at 10:30 a.m. for the new Golden Rule office building under construction at 1006-1008 State St., Lawrenceville.

The signing of the final beam will be done by company executives, city and state officials, and local civic leaders prior to the beam being raised.

Completion of the new facility is expected in the fourth quarter. The new, two-story, 33,000-square-foot brick building, designed to blend with other downtown architecture, will have capacity for 200 employees to accommodate Golden Rule's anticipated future growth in Lawrenceville over the next decade. The first 100 employees will be moved into the offices as soon as the building is completed.
