A Charity Golf Tournament resulted in the donation of $27,000 to the St. Francisville Christian Academy this week.

In June, the golf tourney which involved local employees of Rex Energy raised funds for their charity of choice. The tourney was held in State College, Penn. and included participants from several companies. Those representing Rex Energy from Pennsylvania included Kinette Watson, CEO Ben Hulbert, and CFO Tom Stabley.

Don (owner of Pioneer Oil Company in Lawrenceville) and Debbie Jones suggested that the Christian Academy would be an appropriate recipient for the charity which required $500 apiece from those entering the golf tourney.

The Christian Academy was founded 12 years ago. For more information, call the school at 948-2700.
