Winter and Health
When I was very young, a friend of the family dropped dead while shoveling snow. I'll never forget that. Statistics show that cold, snowy and windy weather puts extra strains on our bodies, especially as we grow older.
Heart attacks, respiratory problems, and other ailments increase when snow, wind, and cold combine, not to mention frostbite.
A wise person will recognize that shoveling snow, or just trying to get around, put extra stress on us, not only physically, but mentally. So, be wise, stay alive.
