All Youth Open Rabbit Show

Wabash County 4-H and the Wabash County Youth Exhibition will host it's Mid-Winter Rabbit Show, which is open to any youth ages eight-to-18. The show will take place at the Mabel A. Courter 4-H Center, 15039 Four-H Center Lane, Mt. Carmel, on Saturday, February 25, with judging beginning at 10 a.m. Doors open at 8 a.m.

All exhibitors should be in the Anderson Exhibition Building and have rabbits entered prior to 10 a.m. This is an entry fee show - $2 per rabbit. All entry fees will be awarded as prize money. Trophies and ribbons also will be awarded. Enter as many classes as you wish.

This is a carrying cage show. All rabbits must be ear marked with a pen when entered in the show. Classes will be bucks and does six months of age or older. No market classes.

Breed classes include New Zealand, Satins, Dutch, Rex, Californian, Florida White, Champagne D'argent, Lops, Flemish Giants, Palomino, Dwarf's, Angora's, Polish and two open classes - Other Small Breeds and Other Large Breeds.

Wabash County 4-H Dog Agility Club will have food available all day during the show. A vendor will be available selling cages, rabbit equipment, and supplies.

The event also will include a raffle with many nice items donated by various local businesses, along with free informational material.

Enjoy a day of fun and a learning experience at Wabash County's Mid-Winter Rabbit show open to all 4-H members and youth in the area.
